The Izwe Youth Foundation was born from a powerful vision: to create real pathways for young people to succeed in the face of South Africa's unemployment crisis.
A group of like-minded entrepreneurs and companies recognized that to tackle this challenge at scale, we must move beyond traditional job creation. The most powerful approach is to empower young people to become entrepreneurs.
Our core belief is simple: For every sustainable business we help launch, we create not just one job, but the foundation for ten more.
Our name, Izwe, reflects our belief in harnessing collective strength – "the power of many united" – to propel potential into performance.
